Redmi 8 launches with Snapdragon 439 | Price is just Rs 7,999

Even before Diwali arrives, Xiaomi has launched its Redmi 8 smartphone.  This is a smartphone that will fit into almost everyone's budget and may even set a record for the best sales this Diwali.

 It costs just Rs 7,999.  Let's talk about the specifications and features of this phone.

 Talking about its design, a new design language has been introduced in Redmi 8 Mix as "Aura Mirror", which we expect will also be added to the much awaited smartphone Redmi Note 8 lineup coming later this month.  .

 It has a fingerprint sensor with dual camera at the back and it is between the two phones and the entire panel makes the phone back very beautiful.

 The Redmi 8 has a 6.26-inch display, with a waterproof notch-top and thick bezel at the top, which is the hallmark of Redmi branding.  It has p2i coating on the top which helps in protecting it from dust and water.

 Inside the hood, the chipset powered by Redmi 8 is exactly the same as the Redmi 8A - Snapdragon 439.  It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which you can expand up to 512GB via microSD slot.

 It has a rear dual-camera setup.  You also get a 2MP depth sensor with a 12MP (f / 1.8) primary sensor.  It has an 8MP selfie camera.

 Redmi 8 has a large 5,000mAh battery which is quite good.  It can be 18W fast-charging via USB-C.  But you have to buy the fast charger separately.  Only a 10W charger is included in the box.

 The price of Redmi 8 3GB + 32GB variant has been kept at Rs 7,999, but to buy a phone of 4GB + 64GB variant, you will have to spend Rs 8,999.
