NHA and Google tie up for Ayushman Bharat implementation

According to some reports, the National Health Authority (NHA) tied up with Google to support and strengthen the implementation of the government's flagship health scheme, the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).

Both Google and National Health Authority (NHA) organizations will work together to explore various user cases to increase process efficiency in day-to-day applications.

It has also been learned that Google will also support NHA to improve the digital presence of PM-JAY and display the relevant content to 500 million beneficiaries.  And at the same time, Google will also help NHA provide training and support to Personnel to create digital skills.

This tie up of Google and NHA will fulfill the objectives of PM-JAY such as reaching out to poor and vulnerable people, reducing their high out-of-pocket health expenses and enhancing quality healthcare etc.

On NHA's tie up with Google, NHA CEO Indu Bhushan stated that "Robust Technology is a keystone of PM-JAY.  Stopping and detecting fraud, claiming approval, using technology will help reduce turnover time and close faster. ”

He also said, "We are ready to tie up with Google to further improve our online presence."

NHA is implementing this program which is considered as the world's largest public funded health insurance scheme.  The objective of this scheme is to provide quality healthcare to about 50 crore poor and vulnerable Indians across India.

NHA's main mission is to create the world's best health assurance program on an efficient and technologically robust ecosystem.  Hope Google gets success in this.
